E;lectric Starter on Buddy 50

Post by jdlafley »

My battery is charged but my electric starter wont work until I have run the scooter for a few miles and then restart it.
I can always use the kick starter but do not know why the electric starter won't work when its been idle for a while.

Help anyone?

Can you load test the battery? The amperage might be too low. If it drops lower than 9v while starting, the battery is probably no good.

Agree, certainly sounds like an old and weak battery.
