Anyone tried the universal parts engine by primo?

Post by Therealslimshaggy »

I have found a few sites selling the universal parts engines. I am curious about the quality of these and if In fact they possibly might be made in Taiwan or by PGO. There is a 150cc and a 50cc 2T. They come with bando drive belts which are top quality and even out lasted my malossi Kevlar belt. They are also sold by primo and sold as high quality replacements which makes me wonder their origin. I want to believe they aren’t from China and are high quality but have no idea. The price is right for less than 500 bucks you can get a complete new engine. If you could squeeze out 20k miles on one of these or more it’s totally worth it. Anyone installed one? The reviews on Amazon are very limited.
