Yesterday around 7:00pm saw a St. Tropez at Chicago Cycle, which I ended up going to because like it or not, they are the best place to just try on a bunch of helmets. Ended up buying a couple that were on sale, though found out once we got home that we could have gotten them for still cheaper online. Oh well. :?

Today outside the Philly zoo at around noon I saw an Italia!

Just remember it gets expensive to try on helmets online!

Are you out there, dude?

WOOHOO!! That was me going home from work in Owasso! I just rediscovered Mingo last week. It's MUCH better than the other route I was taking to get home. Lots fewer traffic lights

I wondered if that was you ECS, but didn't get a good enough look at your ride to post a sighting.
YES! I've been riding Mingo for two years now aside from a few adventures on 129th E Ave/46th St N/145th E Ave or just running WOTATT on 193rd E Ave past the Cherokee Casino. It really is the best route between Owasso and Tulsa. What route were you taking before? Yale? Lewis?

Yes, that is my scooter.
Yes, I wear a helmet and a FIRSTGEAR armored jacket.
No, I'm not embarrassed to be seen riding it.
Yes, that is an NRA sticker on the fender.

I saw what I believe were two buddies flying by old town pasadena today (sunday, July 13). I was buddying to get a new pair of running shoes. I caught a good look at the second buddy, a blue 150 with a guy and his gal.

I maintain that KC is the Bermuda Triangle of Buddys. I have confirmed only a handful during one ride organized by our dealer, but I DO NOT see them when I am out riding. Where is this whirling swirling vortex of Buddy-Eating-Doom located so that I can stay away from it??? I know there have been a lot of Buddys sold here! :?

I think those are called tornados in Kansas, not Bermuda Triangles.

There's sometimes an orange Stella parked in my neighborhood in front of a bank. Yesterday I walked past a cream Buddy 125 secured by a big Kryptonite chain... with the keys (scooter and Krypto) in the ignition. So I popped into the ad/marketing agency it was parked in front of and gave the keys to the owner.

Here in San Antonio, I saw a Black Cat headed west on Sumner yesterday evening. Hadn't seen one of those in the wild, yet.

I saw a blue Buddy at the intersection of Rt 24 and Singer Road last night around 7ish. She was sitting at the light. (no helmet....) My DH would not beep the horn! He just doesn't get it. I told him "It's a Buddy thing, you just can't understand" He just laughed and drove on.
Yesterday may have sucked but TODAY IS MY LUCKY DAY!!!!

Scoot to work day! My wife and I are both attending a 3-week conference in at the Beverly Hilton and both rode our scoots today. We came out this afternoon to find a Series Italia with tan seat and Prima case, parked just inside the garage entrance.

Maybe one of us? Maybe you saw a blue Vespa and a pink Buddy?

Anyone? Bueller?

I'm starting to spot Buddys more frequently now. This morning I spotted a Pink Buddy (not Polly's) on Spring Garden near Vespa Philadelphia and a Creme Buddy parked (oooh illegally street-side and chained to bike rack) in front of Plough & Stars on S. 2nd Street. I spotted the creme a 2nd time, while I was out for lunch.

It's kind of exciting to see all the scooters out on the road now.

TWO Italias on my way home today. One on Vance Jackson headed out towards De Zavala, and another headed west on Basse, just past 281.

Saw my FIRST Buddy in the WILD!

Southbound on Green Oaks/Dottie Lynn right before Pioneer/303...BRAND SPANKIN' NEW St. Tropez with a topcase! They must have just got it because the temp tags were dated 9 days after mine...and I got Bonheur 9 days ago...

I was so excited to see it! I didn't realize the top case was the darker blue. Very PRETTY!
Yes, it's fast. No, you can't ride it.

I saw a red Buddy with white wall tires and a black top case that was pretty much identical to mine (minus the top case). It passed me going westbound on Olympic between Bundy and Centinela.

I happened to head into downtown right behind the owner of this scooter this morning. When she pulled up on the sidewalk to park, I stopped to say hello. As it turns out, she's not a police officer...unless she works undercover...hmmmm.

Anyway, she's had her Buddy since May and loves it. She was very friendly and we chatted for a minute. I'm sure she thinks I'm a psycho nutjob and probably had my license ran through their database.

I make the trek from the Fort Sam area to UTSA on weekdays (avoiding 410 and I-10), and then I'm out and about on weekends. I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

When I was at the post office a couple of weeks ago, I saw a scoot with a chrome Om symbol at Central, but I couldn't tell what kind it was--maybe a debadged Vino.

Two weeks ago I saw a young man and woman riding a light blue buddy in the center of Pace, Fl.

Early this morning I decided to take a 10 mile trip to Milton and buy some sweet corn
at the little farmer's market they have on Sat.

I was on the way home and sitting at a light adjusting the mirrors again (damn mirrors!)
and when I looked up, half way through the intersection was a cream colored Buddy.

The person gave a wave and I was so surprised to see another Buddy that when
I went to beep & wave I only managed to cancel my turn signal and smack my hand on the right mirror
If you're reading this 'Milton Cream Buddy Owner', I meant to wave. Really! :(

I just got my Light Blue Buddy a few days ago, but you'll find me in Boynton Beach, Florida near the mall, and of course cruising by the beach on A1A checking the local surf spots.

I love my scoot! Hope someone spots me! :)
