I'm all set already with a big sign for my scoot and handouts...I know have a big meeting that day and want to spread the word! Our mayor has a Harley so I'm hoping he gets some press for riding it that day.

Heh, thats cool. I've printed some flyers to stick up around my building, and I might post some at the coffee shop I frequent on my scoot.

I actually DON'T ride to work everyday, but I am going to be riding on the 16th. I asked my work to send out a bulletin to everyone in our office about it in hopes that commuters will be more observant. They said they would, so yea!

I’m on vacation that day - I’m for sure not scootering to work!

I don't work in the summer but I'll ride around that day. I only work 3 blks from home so I have to make it extra long when I do scoot.

Heh, I know the feeling. I often take a longer route to work than I have to... And my morning commute is already 27 miles!

We (in San Diego) are going to meetup after work on the 16th at a scooter themed restaurant to enjoy a couple of cold ones, good food, and scooter talk.

I even invited a couple of MC people.

Ohh, a meetup is a cool idea. Unfortunately I don't know enough scooter riders yet for that to be practical for me. Unless theres more Portland scoot owners on here than I think
