Opening & Closing the Seat

Post by FormerStella »

Has anyone out there had problems opening the seat? Sometimes turning the key doesn't unlock it the first time. Then, when I try to close it, the lock doesn't click and I have to push the seat down (or worse, slam it, but I don't like to do that). Any suggestions?

I find if I push down on the seat in the center it is a lot easier to close properly.

I'm having the same issue with unlocking the seat. It's like it gets jammed. Most times I have to lift up the seat while turning the key to get it open. Even then, I have had issues with opening it.

Yep! It's a crap shoot whether the seat will click open once the key is set to unlock it. Most of the time I have to use two hands. :x But I figure if that's the worst concern regarding my Buddy, it's not too bad.
