Best way to make bacon: Cook it in the oven on a grill pan. The grease drops off and the bacon remains plyable and best of all - does not shrink! Big, flacid strips of bacony goodness! Oh, I loves my bacon!!!! Give me a BLT, Extra B and hold the L and T.

I'm happily married to a vegetarian, and while I tend to eat a mainly veg diet, there's just something magical about BACON! The nice thing is that since I save so much money on not buying meat, when I want BACON I get the best BACON money can buy.

After reading this thread all I want to do is go out and get some good BACON, but I'm at work and it's Easter Sunday and all the stores are closed.

GOD WHY DO YOU TAUNT ME IN MY TIME OF BACONY NEED!!!!!!!!!????????????????????

Still refining my bacon baking procedures. Temp 350 but the time varies, sometimes too crisp. Great idea, cook some more and keep track of the time! WOW! Eat your heart out Padma! I'm taken! :P

I have a bag of this at home and it's very tempting to just eat spoons of it right out of the bag. :D

I suppose I should be upset, even feel violated, but I'm not. No, in fact, I think this is a friendly message, like "Hey, wanna play?" and yes I want to play. I really really do.

As fantastic and wonderful as that sounds, when I look at that pic of it cut, all I see is a cross section of what it would do to a person's arteries. That actually lends a lot of respect to that recipe. Most recipes are a little deceitful. This one lets you know exactly what you're in for. I've gotta respect that.

Here's a salute to the honest-bacon-wrapped-meatloaf-mac-n-cheese dish. Honesty's never been so tasty!

If only this hadn't been an April Fools item from ThinkGeek, my neice could be playing with her very own bacon.

I made that bacon explosion for poker sunday once. It was tasty as hell. Like angels sang into my mouth. It absolutely destroyed my gut, though. I still have PTSD from the day after.

The company I work for makes BACON. Pork, Turkey and Beef varieties. Sold to various distributors domestically and internationally. If you have eaten Trader Joe, Rastelli, Eating Right, Wellshire Farms or Millside bacon, then you probably have had bacon made by my company. Of course the real satisfaction comes when we ship overseas to feed the troops.

As much as I love bacon, extra crispy, eating it reminds me of Man's Favorite Pig.

You know I was looking for a certain Starwars action figure online the other day and I saw ThinkGeek had made
a TAUNTAUN SLEEPINGBAG! Like where you sleep inside the Tauntaun and the zipper was a mini lightsaber.
Another cruel April Fool's joke... I totally would have bought one.

A savory alternative to birthday cake: Bacon cornbread layered with black beans, seasoned ground beef, and nacho cheese sauce. Frosted with sour cream and decorated with crunched up cheese Doritos. Served at room temperature.
