The Second Annual Mods vs Rocker rally and bike show will explode in South
Florida, October 23-24, 2010. The historic rivalry between Mods (rode scooters,
wore Suits & listened to Jazz) and the Rockers (rode motorbikes, leather & Rock
n Roll) in 1960s England sets the theme for this year's charity event benefiting
Animal Aid Inc., a non-profit, no-kill animal rescue shelter and adoption
center.

Last year's event drew over 120 bikes and scooters. This year promises more –
near the 200 mark – with more fun and more activities on the docket. Everyone is
welcome, no matter what you ride.

The event will kick off on Saturday, at 9:30 a.m., with a Café Crawl, including
a Poker Run starting at various locations from Pompano and Fort Lauderdale. The
60+ mile Crawl will weave through various townships along the coast, a museum
and other fun stops arriving at 4 p.m., at Oceans 11 on Hollywood Beach for
continued entertainment. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the ride.
Starting points will be posted on the website (www.modvrocker.com) prior to the
event.

Sunday there will be a bike show at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino. The show is
open to all for an entry fee of $10 per bike. Vintage bikes and scooters, café
racers, bobbers are welcome to compete in over a dozen different classes. If the
entrant is dressed for the era, so much the better. All proceeds from the Café
Crawl and bike show go to Animal Aid Inc. Judging and vendor set-up will be at
9:30 a.m. Doors open to the public at 11 am. The awards program will be held at
3:30 p.m., with event break down at 4 p.m.

Pre-registration has already begun on the Mods vs. Rockers website. While you
may register on the day of the event, all pre-registrants receive a goody bag
that includes an event T-shirt and lunch on Saturday's ride. Cost is $20 per
person. Pre- registration goody bags are only available to the first 150 who
sign up online SO HURRY! Spots are going fast!
Live music will be provided by the Clark Boys on Sunday.

Sponsors Majic 102.7 Oldies Radio will be on hand to cover the event on both
days. Our Generous sponsors include; Rick Case Honda, Vespa, Dime City Cycles,
Competition Cycle Center, Power & Play Warehouse, Atlantic Motorcycles, Wes
Scott Cycles, StormLine Marine Supply, and Specialized Motorcycles.

Slick back your hair, don your leather jacket, and join us for a fun weekend of
bikes, scooters, prizes, games, trophies and rock & roll. And, don't forget a
drip pan for your café racer.
