LA Scooter Meetup Group will be hosting a ride from Los Angeles to the El Mirage Dry Lake Bed (and back) to check out and cheer on all the racers in the inaugural World Motorscooter Land Speed Trials. Final details are still being figured out but you can keep informed here.
Here is the proposed route.

It will be just under a 100 mile ride each way through mountain and canyon, twisty and straight, forest and desert, warm and cold... ok, enough build up. It will be fun!
