Cocoa Beach Rally..who's going?

This is looking to be the east coast rally of the year! Last I heard there were 500 preregistered.

So who from MB is attending...besides me and Diva Bocette?

I wish I could go to all of the big rallies. I don't even make many of the ones in CA!

I don't own a vintage scooter (yet), and I don't feel the need to bring one of my modern bikes to this particular rally. Trucking one from Philadelphia would double my costs, which would mean not going to AmeriVespa. This year's AmeriVespa is in NOLA, so DUDE YES I am going to that!

I'll bring riding gear just in case someone lets me ride theirs. Because unless I somehow find an extra $250 between now and February 24th, Pinky & Ditto are staying home.

So here is the scoop, I started to planning, checking out the hotels, getting a travel route ready because I wanted to ride my Black Jack up there and enjoy the rid, check out where to stop, get an tool kit ready etc. etc.. On the day I wanted to register and book the hotel I asked my wife that I would be gone on the week-end of Feb. 25 and then she told me casually oh, we got tickets to go to see the "West Side Story"......so that means I am not going and I was really looking forward to it.

I'm going down for the space shuttle launch (fingers crossed it'll go this time) and I'm sticking around for the rally! Unfortunately I won't have my scooter,

Yet it's closer for me to drive to AL, MS, GA, LA, AR, TN, KY, TX, or SC than it is for me to drive to Cocoa Beach!
Florida is a friggin long state. Distance aside, the real issue being I would not be able to take time off work.

I cant wait for the rally I am super pumped. I live in Orlando so its a short drive for me. There are supposed to be over 600 people at this rally. Does anyone know if its just VINTAGE scooters?

It's not JUST vintage scooters, because the large international contingent will be mostly ride-less and some of us from points far-flung in the USA will be renting modern bikes from Eagle Rider, etc. I think it's supposed to be vintage-focused, though.

Ephrata is thirty five miles PAST where I live from where I was working at the time, in Harrisburg.

The same way as when we went to WSM 1 (we are planning on making it to 3!). Yeah its in the same state.....14 hours of driving in the same state!
