I live in the SW corner of Marietta.

The info on the site says a group is leaving from Vespa Marietta. I was planning on leaving with that group, since I'm more familiar with that area of town.

Can anyone confirm there's a group leaving from VM?

I'm sure there will be folks from VM, but best give them a call or shoot them an email for a headcount.

For that matter I don't know the tally for Decatur yet; sure Steve @ TnS could tell you...

I called Vespa Marietta and they said they did not have the resources to lead a ride. I offered to lead the ride for anyone wanting to leave out of Marietta and they seemed responsive and said they would send out a e-mail to see how many people are interested....if this does not work out maybe we can just decide on a meeting point for anyone wanting to ride from Marietta and just ride to Decatur as a group.

Scudder, did you contact the G.A.S.S. group to see if anyone is riding down from Marietta? I'm pretty sure some peeps are.

So far there hasn't been any demand for a Marietta/GASS ride in. But my offer to meet up is still out there. I'm coming from the SW side. Probably taking 278/78 or EW connector. But I love riding so I'm willing to go "out of the way" if anyone wants/needs a Buddy (no pun intended) to ride in with.
