Slaughterhouse 19 Chicago, Labor Day Weekend

Post by illnoise »

Only two weeks to Slaughterhouse 18, Chicago's biggest and longest-running scooter rally, over Labor Day weekend

Itinerary and details at http://slaughterhousechicago.com

All scooters are welcome, vintage or modern, asian or european. We usually get a few motorcycles, too, and some scooter-curious folks that just want to check out a lot of scooters in one place. We'll visit Chicago's three best scooter shops, eat, ride, drink, dance, and such, hope some of you will join us.

Hi,

I'll be there (unsure what day / time) with a friend who came in from MPLS (you may remember him as the rat-bike guy. It's a road warrior lookin' Honda Elite).

I think we plan to head to the meet n' greet tonight.

No Clue.

Last year there were rumblings that if someone else didn't take over organizing it, it wasn't going to happen.

I'm still going to be in Chi-town that weekend anyways, but i hope that it does continue for a 19th year.

Slaughterhouse 19 will happen, i asked the principal organizers, and they confirmed that yes, there will be a Chicago Rally on Labor Day weekend.

supposedly there is a FB page for it. And yes, they know that they need to update the rally website.

Also, for what it's worth, we decided to do it until 2014 (Slaughterhouse 20: Gold Watch!) then 'retire,' hopefully we'll find someone righteous to pass it on to (and we'll still be around as spirit animals)
