El Scoot de Tucson IV

Post by Howardr »

All scooterists are invited to join the Sky Island Riders for our 4th Annual 1-day rally known as El Scoot de Tucson.

We will be starting the day with a nice, long ride (90-ish miles) around parts of the city, including some nice twisty roads through Tucson Mountain Park.

We will end the ride at my house where we have prepared a Kansas City BBQ meal with all the trimmings.

Cost is only $10/person to cover the cost of the meal.

We will also have a small raffle, where the grand prize is a home made quilt.

I also anticipate having some "slow drags."

See all the up to the minute details on our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/events/125976577549206/

Or on the calendar tab at our website: http://skyislandriders.com/

El Scoot is coming up soon. Looks like the weather will cooperate. The forecast is for 91 degrees and partly cloudy. Should be a great day.

Any southern AZ people out here in MB land think they'll be able to make it?

Yep. No sciatica or other weird crap this year, I hope. Still hoping the patches will arrive in time too.
At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...

Seriously...I've lost count...

Seven mopeds ...that's still manageable...

Good ride! We had at least 33 bikes along for the run.

Big thanks to Howard for hosting another successful El Scoot!
