Background:
I recently bought a 2008 Buddy Italia from MB member bgwss super clean machine with a ton of miles runs like a top. Her name is Olive In a couple of weeks she'll be heading out on a music road tour. 300 miles in 2 days through 22 towns in Kansas and 23 shows.

I bought Olive for my fellow Scukester Matt who has moved to Minnesota. I recently traded my 2006 Kymco B&W in on a 2008 Suzuki Burgman 400. Matt has a year old Stella that we did a Scukester tour in Sioux Falls & Sioux City last year.

So the Event!
Check it out at www.KSscootUkes.com

Matt and I started this 4 years ago just for fun, we map out a reasonable "day" of riding and stopping to play 30 minute shows - singing and playing ukuleles. WE typically ride through 11 - 15 towns in one day. We now encourage other scooter and/or ukulele enthusiasts to join us along the way. Each year we raise money for a different non-profit arts group.

This year we are doing our first 2-day tour in Kansas. We plan on camping somewhere on the great plains of Kansas.

If you are in the area, join us. The route is detailed on the website above.

Scooters & ukes !!!!

Now you're up my alley! I've 6 ukes, from a Chinese-made Lohanu to a Kanilea K2-T, and now a 3 week old Buddy 50.

Love my ukes, love my new Buddy. I think that they make a good combination since ukes are so portable, though harmonicas and kazoos are pocketable.

I'm in SE Florida - PM me if/when you're in the area.
