Post by Crazy88s »

Hi all Totally STOKED tomorrow the the Stella should have the new clutch cable. It is time to name it Annie and I have named the Stella Olive Oyl or Ollie for short. (named it Olive Oyl because of the color (Dark Green) and it seems to fit

Love the avocado.

I haven't come up with a name, kind of feel like she comes pre-named haha. All my cars have been boys, but Stella obviously is a girl. I typically name my cars based on country of production (my Beetle is Chavo, he's hecho en Mexico) so I had thought about Princess Panchali  High five to anyone who gets the reference.

BURNING DOWN THE HOUSE!!!

Post by Tam Tam »

Naming the Blackjack was easy - it popped in my head on the night I bought her. (Electric) Sally...but the Stella took a bit. I tried out a few names but nothing seemed right. Finally, I looked up a site of Italian names and their meanings. Oil burning, 2 stroke red Italian designed scooter...and then I found "SERAFINA" - Italian for 'burning one' and that was it...

So now I have big sister Electric Sally (the bruiser) and little sister Serafina-or 'Fina- (the crusier)

Fury II.

I'd hoped at one time to get some old Plymouth Fury badges to put on it. That might have been cool, but I have other plans now. :)

I named her Tessie.
I have a friend that knows how to make cast molds pretty well. So I plan on making a Tessie badge and removing all of the Stella badges and add the Tessie badge on one of the cowls.

I named mine 'Bettie' when she's not being tempermental, but nickname her 'glitchy Gladys' when she's in one of her moods (the -itchy alternative for her B name isn't very nice)

2T is named Billy boy blue, because he's blue.

Image

The 4T is called Ariel because she is the same colour as the littlest mermaids fin/legs.

I dig the look! :D

My P is named Traveller, as it's a reliable white steed.

I just got a red Stella, so I named it Scully after the character from X-Files since she is a red head. And I hear that David Duchovny might ride scooters? :D

Krampus!

why you ask?

uhh....

because it was red? and kinda ratty when I picked it up and then started being awfully mean to me. Headlight bezel flew out and hit me in the chest while riding, plug fouled plus rust issues and a snapped clutch cable all in the first week of owning him.
