Is there an oil filter to change on my 2012 Stella? Also, how do I change the air filter? It's not possible to get the back screw out.

Thanks. --Ted

Question 1: do you have a 4-stroke?
Question 2: do you have a manual shifter?

If you can answer both questions with 'yes': there is an oil filter.
Remove the rear wheel and you will see the oil filter cover (you will recognize it because is says 'oil filter'). Remove the 3x 8mm nuts and 1x 10mm nut and replace the oil filter.

The automatic 4-stroke also has an oil filter, I do not know where it is located though.

Yes to 1 and 2. Thanks. How do change or clean the AIR filter?

Somewhere around here is a link to the Shop Manual. That has the info you need.
The manual says to remove the shock bolt to get to the last air filter screw. Others say get at it with needle nose pliers.

You will see the air filter once you are at the oil filter.
It's kept in place by 3 bolts. If you remove these (1x bolt to frame, 2x bolt to clutch cover), you will have enough wiggle room to unscrew the air box lid (square cover with a round hole in it).

Great! Thanks for your help. One last question: Do I replace the filters, or just clean them? If I replace them, where can I purchase them?

Thanks, BigDaddy. But I cannot find the link to the shop manual for the 2012 Stella 4 stroke manual shift. Can you help?

The air filter? You can wash this one with soap, let dry and apply oil.

The oil filter? Always replace.
