Piston and rings for Polini 165 4T kit?

I had the 165 kit installed on my '13 Stella 4T this summer. I guess it didn't set right because she began burning oil. Still runs like the dickens but smokes like a 2-stroke. I've been trying to find out if I can just get a new piston and rings or do I need to install a whole new kit? I sent Polini a few emails but have gotten no response.
