12v power issue

Didn’t know what to search on this one. Everything was working fine for the first couple days. Today out of nowhere it sounded like my battery was dead. Turn signal was slow and inconsistent. No electric start or anything when I got home. Checked the battery and it was at 13.5v. Took the cowl off and everything was working. Put it back together and it worked for about 5 min while I was fixing the right signal then it quit again. Complete power loss. Flipped the lever for the battery cowl and everything came back on. Any ideas ?

Are one of the wires bared/stripped, particularly near the cowl lever?
Since the turn signals route through the cowl, that might be your culprit?

That was my thought but it still happened with them off

This is on the stella two stroke shifter? Check the screw fuse terminal. Might be that the internal contacts are crusted up, and you're losing power flow. Try jumping those wires together to eliminate it from the circuit.

Checked the fuse but it was clean

Check your battery terminals, coil bracket, jiggle wires...

Huh. My only makes 13.5v. I bet that’s why my headlight won’t burn steel at 40 yards.

It's odd that your SSD failed. That almost NEVER happens, especially Samsung.
As recommended above by Invalid Error, I would test your PSU 12 v. output with a meter. That is the single most important voltage used by the computer.
I doubt that you have a mobo problem.
