Got it today. Took about 10 min. to install. Wow, what a difference. It runs quieter and smoother and doesn't backfire anymore. A great, easy, cheap upgrade.

@BigDaddy SnakeOiler, I've been having trouble with backfiring (esp. when the tank is full for some reason). My engine is stock otherwise - would you still recommend installing one of these? And beyond the engine running better, any noticeable performance gains for you?

From what I've read, yes. My bike hasn't been stock for a while and this is only one of a few things I'm doing right now, so I can't tell what gains come just from the slider.
Best thing to do to get answers is to go to the LML Club of Great Britain on FB. Adam from Tasso can answer questions there.
