SITO+ is an afternoon job on a 2T

I got home from work, even took time to wash the car, and still got the SITO+ installed and carb re-jetted.

The stock exhaust came off with no issues. A little PB Blaster and gentle persuasion was required to remove it from the exhaust stub, but that was the worst of it.

Per Scooterworks, starting with a stock setup and going to these jets.
Carb, Idle Jet 55-160
Carb, Air Corrector Jet, 160
Carb, Atomizer Jet, BE3
Carb, Jet, Main SI 100

She fired right up and I took her for a quick trip up the hill. The torque difference is certainly noticeable. All smiles here :D

Sorry it got dark. Here's a little video, but you can hear the difference.

Second day riding to work after the exhaust upgrade. Plenty more torque and it seems to rev better now that the engine can breathe. I didn't think it would be as loud as it is with the SITO+.

Is there any point in hanging onto the stock exhaust? I was gonna scrap it.

I love a low thumpy idle......what's that set at, about 450rpm? Almost sounds like one of those old hit-or-miss engines of yesteryear.

I don't have a tachometer to check it, but if the idle is too high the gear seems to clunk harder when putting it into first gear. I opted for a nice low idle so it doesn't clunk so badly. It reminds me of a Moto Guzzi Monocylindre Falcone.

Just an update. The clock just turned over 4000 miles the other night.

Everything is running great. Stella can haul my 180lb carcass up a particular hill with an average 8.5% grade at 40mph. That's a significant improvement from stock.
