Hello! I'm a newby on this forum and this is my first post and first time owner of a motor scooter. I have recently bought the Stella and it came with an oversized battery that did not allow room for the spare tire. The previous owner had forced the battery between the the two upper threaded post that hold the spare tire in place.

I've ordered a replacement on Ama**n only to find out that the width dimension is just slightly bigger for the battery caddy/holder. I need to find a battery that is about 5"X 3" X 5" WLH or thereabouts within mm's to the inch.

The southern Wisconsin spring is almost upon us and I can't wait to have this road-ready to ride. If anyone out there can suggest or point me to where I may be able to find such battery please LMK. Thank you!

150 CC Rider.

Everything I see says you want a B9B battery (also known as YB9B).

That's 5 5/16 x 3 x 5 1/2 inches LWH.

But you say that's too big to fit the space. Hm.

You might try a YTZ7S. That's 4 7⁄16 in. x 2 3⁄4 in. x 4 1⁄8 in. Would that fit?

Hi and thank you for your reply. The battery I got from Am***n is a YTX12-BS and measures 5.91 x 3.43 x 5.12 inches, so just not enough width room allowance in the battery caddy to fit. I did go by Batteries + and got a smaller one that should fit, but will probably have to use several tie wraps to keep in place.

I've yet to replace a couple things to include the clutch cable, as a bicycle brake cable is what the seller put on prior to selling. I can't really complaint--I picked it up for a little over 1K.

Can't wait to hit the road!

Thank you!
