G400C: Moving the turn signal lights to accomodate storage bags

I have been looking for awhile for some sort of saddlebags that would work with this bike. I found some however the catch was that the rear turn signals are too far forward. After some postulating I found a rather decent position to move these too. There is a perfect spot on the license plate holder where some side reflectors go. In fact I am curious if this was not the original intention as turn signals seem to be more commonly placed near the actual tail light. Here's a pic of where the stock turn signals go and where I moved them.

Overall this was a very simple mod that did not require any new components, other than some extra wiring. Also, some basic wiring/soldering skills may be needed if you choose to do something similar.

I can break down the process if anyone is interested but in short: I popped off the seat, unplugged the turn signal cables, pulled off the side reflectors, and rerouted the turn signal wiring through the same channel as the tail light. This tail light goes through the top of the rear fender and along the internal fender surface and back up and through to right under the seat.

Here is under the rear wheel fender:

Perfect! No additional cable straps/hardware needed. Just need to extend the turn signal wires and you are good. Here's the finished product, with the saddlebags now fitting appropriately. Just wanted to share.

Nicely done.
-There are also aftermarket taillights available with integral signal lights.
