Modern Buddy

I recently installed the stock Blur cargo rack. I'm thinking about purchasing a top case for weekend getaways. Does anyone have any suggestions for cases (brand names and models) that can be easily mounted and removed on the standard Blur cargo rack?

A light one that you carry nothing in?

It very well could be the pock-marked things that pass for roads in Michigan, but my rack broke with only the weight of the top case on it. I how have a set of panniers that I rigged up instead of carrying all that weight way up high. And yes, I thought that the rack was one of the strongest things that I've ever seen as an aftermarket accessory. Make sure that you use some of the red thread locker on those bolts. Good luck.

Givi is expensive but looks good, built tough, great customer service. I live in Cincinnati so I visit the SportTour guys on a normal basis and bug them with my questioning to no end.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I had read earlier posts about the grab bar bolting issues but had not seen your solutions. I especially appreciate your suggestions for the top cases. I had gone to the Shad and Givi websites but it was not at all clear which size/model would be ideally suited for the Blur since their site did not list Genuine scooter options.
