Windshields...again

Post by BuddyRaton »

I am thinking about mounting a windshield on my blur 220. I can feel a good amount of drag on my chest and think that a proper screen would add at least 5 mph I have read what I could find about windshields for the 220i. It sounds like the Prima has some possible drawbacks.

I saw that some used a Puig 992 now called the City Touring.
Is it this one? Any other options? I'm looking for more of a fly screen. It made a huge difference on my Buddy.

Any comments regarding increased top end, buffeting noise or suggestions appreciated!

When I bought my '11 Blur 220i this past summer it came with the stock Genuine Blur windshield which looks very similar to the one in your picture. I don't have a before and after comparison to go by but it does make for a comfortable ride. While it's on the low side it does deflect the wind over the top of my helmet which probably means I'm getting an extra 1 - 2 mph. My gps confirmed top speed is 67 mph.
