V-Belt

In reading the maintenance schedule it says to replace the V belt at 4000 mi
That seems to be a little soon or does it mean inspect and replace if needed?

The blur seems to have one shortcoming. The belt usually shreds itself between 6-7 K. Great scooter, just replace the belt often.

Had my belt changed at 7k, and they told me it could have 'fallen off' at any moment. I think they may have checked around 5k and thought it was fine for a bit more - I just pushed it off too long.

Mine was shot around 4K. I would advise changing every 4k(or at least having it inspected).
