Blur Won't Start

After sitting for sometime, I charged the battery with a trickle charger for a couple days now, and when I try to start it up, nothing happens. The starter doesn't even crank or click. I do hear what seems to sound like relays under the seat clicking even when I squeeze the brakes. If I disconnect the battery charger, it dies almost immediately.

This is a 2011 Blur and I've not replaced anything on it except the rear tire.

Any recommendations for online retailers?

Yes, definitely time for a battery. Got mine from Batteries Plus and it's still going strong after three years (keep on battery tender when not riding for a few weeks).

Have had good luck with Yuasa brand also.

Motobatt make some absolutely fantastic batteries. Search for your size and see if you can get one. They come charged and most of them have four terminals for various fittings. Totally sealed and not that much more expensive than a quality wet cell battery.

I got my battery on Amazon for 30 bucks. It has worked just as well as the OEM...

Here is one that will do the job for 23.10 shipped....

I actually ordered this battery as mine was starting to go bad again. Swapped out with the $23 one and all is good. Highly recommended. For $23 bucks I may just replace it yearly. They don't seem to last long - even with a tender.

A little late to the party, but just in case anyone else needs a battery, this MightyMax battery that I bought from Amazon for $30 in 2015 is still going strong with no sign of weakening. During the winter I can't ride my scoot everyday, but the battery has never failed to start the engine, even though my particular engine has a higher than stock compression ratio.
