Front brake pad life expectancy?

Has anyone changed the front pads yet? I am at 9500 and curious as to how long the pads will last. They seem fine at the moment(very squeaky, but they have always been that way).

Mine needed changing at about 19K miles. I didn't realize how bad the old pads were until I installed the new ones. Completely revitalized the braking performance. Still running on the original rear pads though. Probably should change those too.
