Hmmm... that was odd...

Post by dmwarren »

At the beginning of the summer I noticed the fluid level indicator on my master cylinder was getting hazy looking, and I figured that the lens was just dirty. Then a few weeks later I noticed very fine crack appearing in it. I thought that was odd but since I wasn't riding, I ignored it. I go out to start my bike for a ride last weekend and WOW! brake fluid squirted out!
Needless to say the entire assembly will have to be replaced. Any ideas for replacement? Do I have to use OEM for the Rattler or can I use something else?

Thanks!

You can use any master cylinder you want. The best part about the buck10 is the 7/8" handlebar setup. I liked the buck10 setup so much that I mimicked it with my RH50 the best I could. You can even scour motorcycle junkyards for the parts you need.
