Replacing Rear tire and drum brakes for 2012 Roughhouse 50

Post by dannyrich »

My back tire has a leak and I have no idea where but it needs replacing anyway. How difficult is it to put a new tire on the rim? Will I be able to do it myself?

Since I'm going to be taking the tire off I mine as well put in new drum brakes. My question is what are the specifications of the drum brakes. Which one's do I order?

Thanks

Oh yea just remembered something. When I was looking at tires online I saw you can replace tire valves. I was doing a quick search so didn't look to much into but would I be able to replace the valve on my tire? Because I think that's where the leak is.

Rear brake

Valve stem

Tire tools

Changing a tire is straight forward and some what easy if you have the right tools. If you don't have access to a good air compressor for refilling and seating the new mount that's where you will run into trouble.
