Roughhouse Front Fender

Post by DIZZEE1.6 »

I was wondering if anyone had figured out the easiest way to just remove the front fender on the Roughhouse... I just don't like the plastic look of it and want to see if i like it better w/o it on there. If anyone can help with a guide, it would be greatly appreciated! Just don't want to take apart more than is necessary! Thanks alot!!!

It is usually very simple to work on these. I would guess you would have to remove the front wheel to get the fender out.

The good things is a decent set of metric tools will allow you to do almost anything on the bike.

You shouldn't have to remove the front wheel unless the fender is somehow wrapped around the front axle. Most likely 4 screws/bolts on the forks should do the trick

Thanks Cyclone! And thanks to all who've helped!

Totally non-related, but I really want a digital tach/speedometer for my Roughhouse 50... What would you guys recommend?

Idk about the aftermarket world on that one but Genuine makes a pretty neat one for the 110's, it doesn't have a tach though...

Dude, thanks Nissanman! That site is awesome! I had no idea there was a company like that with so many different options on gauges... It's gonna make it hard to pick just one!

Well.... Don't I fell kinda dumb! I did look at some of the guages and thought they looked familiar, but I was thinking I had seen them on a sport-bike or something, not on a Ratty! That's funny... Thanks for opening my eyes a bit, and like I said before I'm not sure now which one I want to get! I'd really like an accurate speedo and tachometer, but it would be really nice to have the manifold temp. there too... Decisions, decisions...

Most of their gauges use a magnetic pickup that you install on the front brake rotor, so you calibrate the speedometer. You can make it as accurate as you want :D
