dual headlamp protector?

Post by Maker »

after doing some digging on the rough house, i've figured out that its basically a pgo pmx. the 2007 pmx seems to have had a front protector for the headlights.

which you can see here:
http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/pgo_pmx_50_2007.php

and on page 48 of this doc:
http://www.modernbuddy.com/pdf/RH_Rat_S ... Manual.pdf

i've googled like crazy...does any one know if this was stock or accessory?
would it fit the roughhouse?
are they available?

thanks!

From what I understand, that piece is optional... I don't know the part number for it though. Check with a Genuine dealer to see if they are even available anymore would be my best guess.

I've never seen one before, ever. I think it also may get in the way of your lights as the Rattler/Roughy have a somewhat larger headlamp than the old PMX. I could be wrong, though.

Why not join that forum and see if you can find some English speakers?

Verified the headlamp assembly is the same as that of the limited edition Black Cat. I got a chance to look at one up close and noticed the differences. Perhaps there's a Black Cat owner who may have one.

I can't find a single Indonesian pgo parts dealer on the entire interwebz!!!! Of course I don't speak Malay, or Indonesian or whatever so that's not helping.

Is there a Taiwan pgo headquarters?

I've got the metal headlight guard from my old TGB Key West. I'm planning on modifying it to fit the RH. I'll post pics when I do!

PGO Headlamp Protector

Post by Roughhouse808 »

I was searching for this part like crazy and, surprisingly, found it... only problem is the only site that carries it only ships inside the Uk :( Did you ever figure something out?

Here's the site:

Hey let me know how the Key West mod goes. I looked into that but I don't wanna order one unless its gonna fit/look with minimal mods, especially since I live in HI and shipping will be more than the part itself.[/quote]
