insanely torqued spark plug

Post by zeke »

do people remove the seat when they change the RH50 spark plug?

i'm trying to remove it from the bottom and it is insanely torqued! i am using the tool that came with the scoot. my chunky friend couldn't remove it either. it is so tight. any tricks for removing a stuck spark plug??

thanks!

Peanut Butter Blaster... that stuff is amazazing. I've used it on seized engines when doing a teardown. You can't use a torch otherwise you will guarantee a cracked ceramic or soften the threads to a point where you would need a helix coil to put in a new one.

Thanks! Been googling and people recommend soaking the plug with either PB or something call Kroil (people love this stuff).
