new exaust!

Just got back from the shop
Did a complete tune up jet/roller weights/and a brand new leo vince tt ehaust!
Its like a whole new scoot the accleration is incredible and hills are a breeze. Haven't had a chance to go w.o.t yet
Ill post pictures tomorrow when the suns out.

Sounds great! Is yours a Roughhouse?

I have a Roughhouse with the stage 1 kit and it sure helps the mid-range. My kit included an expansion chamber pipe with silencer, a selection of jets, rollers, and a new contra spring. Makes it more fun!

its a 2013 roughhouse
we went with leo vince because my mechanic and i weren't satisfied with the Quality/performance of the prima kit.
we also modified the airbox by removing the snorkel and the plastic air dam.

Looks great! How loud is it? What weight rollers are you using? And, how is its initial performance off the line?

Attached (hopefully) is a picture of mine. I have added a secondary silencer. It does not quiet it too much but does take the "sharp edges" off the sound. This system is very good for mid-range, which is great for climbing hills around here.

its nice and loud, but not all screechy and high pitch like the prima,its a nice bassey tone, sounds alot like the buddy 170i

im using the leo vince 6.2 rollers, but im going to switch out to some 6.5 sliders.

the performance is amazing its very quick take off the line and then it smoothly accelerates to the top.all in all im extremely satisfied.

thinking about getting the red silencer you can have for this exhaust.

Interesting. Mine has 5g rollers. Takeoff is not great initially, but once it "gets on the pipe" it takes off. Which is fun.

I think the 5g rollers limit my top speed some, although not a big deal to me. Still, I am liking they way yours works.

Do you know what size main jet is used? Mine is a 95.

Oh, and a red silencer would be pretty cool!

Any idea how the TT compares to the zxr pipe? I'm not sure if the difference is in performance or if it's just looks. Would like to put a pipe on my buddy 50.

Hi Demps, since empty never responded to the last question asked, don't think he's checking this thread anymore. But to answer your question yes that is the Leo Vince in question. Good find on your part with the site, now that I know where to get one, may just order one for myself.
I initially went with a Technigas Next-R chromed, but the rust that is starting around the welds, which I think is mainly due to poor chroming on their part, will eventually lead to weld failure. Having a replacement pipe would be beneficial. Plus the price is about 80 less than the Next-R.

Just for reference, the ZXR Leo Vince pipe series feature a longer and larger diameter muffler so they run quiet.

well since the sun is shining again, i decided to do some work to my exhaust, the clear coat was starting to burn off, and i didn't like the all chrome colored silencer.
about 2hours with sand paper and a few cans of high heat engine enamel later this is what i got.
you can find,red, blue, and gold silencers on amazon.
