Roughhouse Performance Exhaust

Post by Tachinidae »

Wanting to put this exhaust on my scooter, wondering what else I would need to do, I'm assuming I'll need to rejet, but is there anything else I need to do?

Also, what tools will I need to get the job done?

There is another kit they sell which includes the pipe, plus a contra spring, new rollers, and a set of jets. You will probably need all of those.

You will definitely need to re-jet. I think the stock jet is an 85. You'd commonly need to go to a 92, 93, or even 95.

I have this setup and I like the mid-range. But I am not happy with the bottom end; too slow. Another member here got the Leo Vince setup and seems very happy with it.
1971 Hodaka Ace 100
1977 Suzuki GT250 is now sold... Good bike!
1980 Yamaha IT125
Honda: '66 CT90 KO; '83 CT110; '92 CT70; 2001 XR250
and 1 or 2 others... I need to sell some bikes!
