How about the height vs. clearance? YSS looks much shorter than stock, is there any danger of the old 'bottoming out' issue? Inquiring minds want to know.

Its about 3 millimeters shorter, not very noticeable at all
I weigh 125 pounds so I, ve never bottomed out even on stock.
Buuuuut the spring has way more range when it comes to adjusting the spring tension. instead of the four or five presets the stock shock had, the locking nut on the yss has about 2 and a half inches of threading so you can dial it in just right.
