I was driving my rattler 2 days ago and it died as I was stopping at a red light, I fired it right back up and it went almost another mile before dying at about 45 mph and since then will not start at all, I've changed the spark plug, charged the battery, drained the gas and refueled, and checked the gas filter, and air filter, carb isn't guncked up or anything. When I try to start it sounds like normal only the engine doesn't fire up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you open the float bowl drain, does gas drain out?
If you open the gas cap, is there a vacuum-type sound?
If you pull the spark plug lead & attach a spare plug to the head (to ground it), do you get spark?
If you pull the aircleaner off, does it run?

The tank should not be in A vacuum condition when the gas cap is removed.
Does the motor have compression when you use the kick starter?
Is the kill switch off or defective?

No compression?
Ding-ding-ding-ding
Bad piston or bad reed valve. The reed petals are easier to replace.
