RH first service

Post by KooK »

I searched and searched, but I guess I'll ask anyway. I'm over 300 miles and my first service is coming. Is it actually necessary to take it to a genuine since really it's only the trans oil change. I'm not sure I want to take it to the genuine dealer and get ripped off. I could take it to another scooter shop that charges 20 bucks for the oil change but what else would I tell them to look over if I took it that route.
Or. What is an average first service charge?

I am gonna ask who ever does it to check out if I am teaching my top speed. That is my only concern with the scooter, as many of you state you come closer to 45 or greater indicated mph, and I just reach 40 or 41 indicated.

Thanks

Ask the dealer what they charge. There are some that are reasonable on the first service.

As to top speed, How much do you weigh? And are both restrictions out?
Speed is only a matter of money...How fast do you want to go?
