question about my th compared to my other 2 wheeled vehicles

Post by KooK »

I ride my bicycle a lot. And a observed a few weeks ago that on my bicycle, The rear brake is on the right hand , front on the left. For my rh, I assumed the same thing as all bikes gave the same setup. I was almost ejected once when on a loose gravel parking lot and hit the brake with my right hand and the front locked up and slid a little.

Is this the normal setup for my RH? Front is right and rear is left?

Mine is the same way. I would assume that's the right way, because on a motorcycle, the front brake is on the right hand, and the clutch is on the left bar. With no need for a clutch on the left bar, it makes good sense for the rear brake to be there.
