2013 Genuine Roughhouse 50
Scooterworks Exhaust
Big Bore Kit
NCY Super Trans
Performance Air Filter

Just picked her up last night with the newly added Super Trans and Air Filter. Drove it home (about 25 mins 25-40 mph) and the whole time when I was riding it would cut out and coast then pick up then repeat (did not lose power).

The only time it DID NOT do this was when I was accelerating or full throttle. If i try to "cruise" at the same speed for any amount of time this would happen.

It was about 50 degrees so maybe the colder weather had something to do with it?

Is this normal while everything breaks in? or should I take it back and have someone look at it?

The jetting is wrong. It'll have to be tuned until the problem goes away

Disclaimer I do not know much about the inner workings of these things but do they jet anything for the super trans kit or air filter?

It was running great last season when I had just the BBK and exhaust.

My money would be on the air filter and jetting.

Yeah, a pod filter will change the jetting pretty dramatically

Wouldn't you think that'd make it consistently bog, rather than cut in and out though?

And the change that caused the problem happened after you added the new air filter. Your getting way to much air and not enough fuel, either re-jet or cut down on the intake of air.
