Soon time to change the Rattler's gear oil

In a very short amount of time, I've been racking up the miles (enjoying speeding up the break-in process whenever possible). I should be reaching 200 miles before Friday. I figure I'll change the gear oil some time within 200-300 miles.
Unlike my former scooters (SAE 90), the Rattler requires SAE 140  . In the past, I've always used Motul synthetic with satisfaction.
What is its API rating, GL4 or GL5? Is it a hypoid setup or not? Once again, it would be nice to be able to aquire an official service manual.
What have you guys been using?

Amsoil Severe Gear. Careful not to strip the drainplug when re-installing.

Why, did you strip it? I found out the torque value. It's 1.8 kg-m.

Nah, but I can't get mine to stop dripping :x I'm afraid to strip it (I have a real bad habit of doing that). Plus I know a fellow CT native that stripped his, you actually strip the transmission housing the plug is quite sturdy.

I didn't take mine off yet. Did it have a sealing/crush washer? If so, those sometimes need to be replaced. I found that out with the gearbox drain plug on my Typhoon.

There are kits, but I would hire a professional to do it.

I've got that planned for next week. Going to bore it from a 8mm to a 10mm thread. It'll be a lot easier to get washers for it too that way. Don't worry, I'm getting help from a ridiculously good technician. No eggageration here, one of Nissan's top 10 in the country. I'm sure I'll tell the story when it's done.
