sotied wrote:Better flag photo, but since I already had one, no need to update. Just more fodder for the video (which I love).
Great flag! and on that note... if anyone wants to put up an additional, or better, photo between now & Thursday feel free - we can always use more for the video.
Yeah, people are a bit enthusiastic here at home. I stopped there today after doing a Social Media Breakfast meeting (BMM070608) in Jamaica Plain, MA this morning.
Yes, I'm a geek AND I ride a scooter. *edit was to change tag to Boston Media Makers (BMM).
If I see more flags around town or have other fireworks photos, I'll add them for the video.

Just curious if that is Aruntoo's old bike? There are too many details which looks just like his, like the cut off rear fender, heat wrap around the pipe, painted rims etc. Also you living in Indiana, you could have easily gone to seen the bike. Just curious
Sure is. I really like the scoot. Saw it on CL before I knew of MB.
After I bought it I had the throttle, front brake and an expanded switch assembly moved to the left side to accommodate limited use of my right hand. That took about three weeks. I've added a NCY adjustable rear shock. Really like Alan's shock, but my 200 lbs was a little much for it.
What's funny is when I ride with Paulette, my scoot and I are invisible. Pinkie gets ALL the attention. And as it should be.
5 points for my scooter with an amateur display, and 3 for my scooter with the flag. A bit of personal history, I was born in that building, but my mom wasn't paying her property tax at the time. It was orginally a hospital.

Can I borrow those for a minute? We've got to drive quite a ways to get fireworks in AZ . So unless one of the reservation casinos have some weekday fireworks, this is all I get this week.
That's me and my awesome neighbor Jason who just got back from serving in Iraq with the Naval Reserve IBU on June 16th and two of his adorable girls, Emily and Kayla. That's Jason's house in the background...the most stunning Victorian on the block.
Emily loves my scoot and always wants to go for a ride. My kinda girl!

sorry... that just wouldnt be in keeping with the intent of the hunt - now if you had happened to take more than one photo & you email it to him so he can post it... how would I know?
I would really like more players & hope he has a chance to take a pic of his scooter with a flag or fireworks in the next two days (or find one that was taken since Friday )
Please encourage him to take a pic & join in on the fun.

great... how the heck am I going to make that look like it fits in the video?
Great job & great pics this week
To be clear... yes I know the rule states "for a photo of you getting a ticket (photo must include your scooter & a cop writing the ticket)"
but since I have no way of telling if someone is really getting a ticket, or just had the balls to ask a cop to pose for the pic - you get the 10 pts - either way you deserve them.

GREAT PHOTO BRAPE! Very ingenious shot and yes, artistic! WTG!
Out of town for the Fourth, no legal fireworks in AZ, "Oh Wo is Me", I thought. But how odd is this - you can't buy a sparkler in the state, but you can buy road flares! So here goes, lots of fire!
So what do you think? Is it 8 points, including the flag pic earlier?
[EDIT]Boo ScootLemont! Boo Hiss![/EDIT]
OK, I'll stay with the 3 points, but I'll leaving the pic up.

Sorry.... but if SANTRO-PEY's first pic wasnt a flag, then a flare is not fireworks. B for effort, but no points
You still have over 24 hours....
does this help? http://chemistry.about.com/od/demonstra ... arkler.htm
i just ran out and rode in the rain to get this picture in for this week. its pouring outside...though you might not be able to tell from the photo. i meant to get it all week and waited til the last minute.
total of 13 points this week...or 14 if you were counting the first firework picture as a +1 for first submission. either way.

13... sorry.. the extra point is for the first pic - I realize you had the first fireworks pic but it wasnt the first pic of the week - you wont really miss one point will you?
