The Okies are going to rule this one.

BTW, thinking we can start the summer hunt season in June, run through August. That'll give me time to line up sponsors for prizes. :)
I'll confer with previous Huntmasters and see how we can work it out.

This one's just for fun. And fun is its own reward.

This could get entertaining. Some of the Hunts got pretty testy last summer just battling for points. Who knows what will happen if a Modern Buddy Button is involved?!?!

It's this awesome place in Stillwater, OK. I had family that used to live out there and we'd always go eat at Eskimo Joe's when I'd go visit. But now they don't live out there and I miss the place, so it's my own selfish twist on the scavenger hunt. I figured it was ok since no one lives particularly close to Stillwater.

It's not the best but the restaurant was really busy and it gets dark up north here waaaay early...the daffodils are just starting to peek out.

Me with the '79 Vespa P200. Rick is holding our "special" pizza (traditional, half pepperoni, half great white, well done) and sitting on the P (yes, he is sitting on it). Rick is not only a server at Bob & Timmy's, but also co-owner. I'm next to him wearing a Bob & Timmy's t-shirt (in pink to match my helmet). The b/f is taking the pic...he's on the '65 Dream. It is a dream. We're Thursday night regulars. I wish it was later in spring and it would be lighter out.

Just more Yappin. I had three meals yesterday via Scootle and didn't take photos of any.

Feel like such a wanker. Will hopefully get some good weather today so I can get lunch or breakfast via the scoot.

Oh, for those of you who like food...here's my list of food from yesterday. Painting my photo with words.

Hot tea with milk and sugar
A Red Sox Omelet - tomatoes, cheese and Fenway Franks
Homefries
Toast
Hot tea - Earl Grey Blue Flower mixed with English Breakfast
Iced Tea - sweetened ... blech
Back Bay Burger, medium rare - this is Gorgonzolla and Cajun spices
Sweet Potato fries
three handfuls of taffy
English Breakfast tea (starting to see a pattern and think I have a problem)
Celeste pizza

Everything except the pizza was eaten out. So there are plenty of sources for food and scooting to be had.

Back later with photos I hope.

Ten days left, ya'll, and only one entry? Let's try to get a few more in, I mean, this should be a relatively easy one.

It's not much, but it's what I got (since siobhan started off with a home run, this is almost embarrasing - haha!):

+2 scooter in the pic

Nothing sad about your pic, siobhan. Maybe Spring Fever has everyone more excited in riding than in shooting.

Rules? I'm not sure they are written down. It's just what's been going on over the winter, until ScootLemont takes over his rightful place as our HuntMaster once again.

uhhhhh..... ScootLemont has a new job that will keep me from putting in the time on the Hunts I did last summer..... so its up to all of you to keep it going.

besides... I used up all my ideas (+ stole the good ideas from other people)

I do look forward to playing this summer & hopefully will have more time once the new job settles down a little

Rules?

At the end of the summer... we totaled up the points & the winner from the summer got to take over.... pretty much since then, the winner of one hunt, gets to run the next hunt.

here is what we were running last summer.... along with the individual weeks stuff

General Rules for every week:
-A new photo subject added every Friday. Participants will have until the following Thursday to post their pic (taken that week)
-Only one photo may be submitted by each member for each week’s subject. (but if you get a better pic later in the week, PLEASE edit your original post note that you posted a better pic and note in the newer post that it is a replacement for a previous pic.
-Old photos you have lying around can NOT be used- they must be NEW photos taken the week the photo subject was posted
-10 BONUS POINTS (good anytime all summer) for a photo of you getting a ticket (photo must include your scooter & a cop writing the ticket) only one of these may be submitted per player. (Thanks to kazoo for the suggestion)
(Edit – you don’t have to be REALLY getting a ticket… if you can get a cop to pose like he/she is writing you a ticket, that is good enough)
-No Photoshop submissions
-Prize? Sure, if we can figure out a way to do that, but the real prize will be bragging rights & all the fun we all had all summer.

Scooter Photo Scavenger Hunt!
What is it? - Every Friday a new photo subject is posted in gallery forum & it will be your job to go get a photo of your scooter with that subject.

When is it? - It was started May 30th ran all summer, finishing up Labor Day weekend. 14 Weeks! Who? - EVERYONE is encouraged to participate, the more players the better! Some subjects will be easy & some will be more difficult. Some might be impossible for some people but do your best & participate when you can. Don’t worry if you didn’t get in at the start... just jump in anytime!

SL, what if we say Pretty Please?

Congrats on the new job (especially if it was not a direct result of getting laid off of the old job), and here's hoping you are able to join in regularly.
