My Black Jack

Post by AtlBuddy »

Thought I would upload some pics of my newest toy and compile my mods into one post. I started with my Buddy 50 and then upgraded to the Black Jack. I could not leave it alone.
Here are my mods:

Red LED under lighting
10.5 sliders
red and black skull cross bones handgrips
chrome handle bar mirrors
painted engine grill
givi topcase wired with LED brake lights.

custom seat (removed from my other buddy)
Custom flame graphics on top case and front cover.

I have to credit Mr. Miller with the inspiration for my seat and flames. I am still deciding how much I like the flame graphics since they came out a little different than I had hoped. I was hoping for more red and less silver. What do you guys think?

I am happy to say that today I rolled past a 1000 miles and the bike is a blast to ride. I think I have had it for about 2 months now.

Looks good, I think the silver is a nice accent color for the BJ myself. How do you like the barend mirrors? I need better (more) mirrors for my sh150 and have been thinking about adding barend mirrors.

Personallyove them. This is my second set. I had black ones on my red buddy and now have chrome ones. They have a wider viewing range even though they are smaller. Plus they stay put once I adjust them.

looks sweeet! Are the mirrors the fold-in kind? How much did they bump you, and does it increase your side clearance? I notice the stock buddy mirrors stick out a little past the handlebars, I don't want to lose too much room.

The mirrors pivot on an arm with a ball on the end. They do stick out a little farther than the stock mirrors but I would say only about an inch on each side. I got them on EBay for about $17 and was impressed with the chrome on them. Several members here have them as well and there is a very long post about them on here as well.

Supersharp!

Post by Tam Tam »

Your Blackjack is very supersharp. Especialy the graphic on the topcase....supercool and well done! and a good tip of the hat to MrMiller as well!

(makes me wonder if I should've gone with red for my underlights)
