custom rattler 110

Post by blackratt »

lately im getting a lot people asking about the rattler
its been repainted flat black ,floorboard upgraded, and an led tail light replacement
i took of the inner fender and most of the rear fender to open it up
3 rows of green leds underneath
engine is stock, pipe is stock but repainted with exhaust paint .
spring has been upgraded to a 2200 rpm and the rollers have been split up half 10 and half 7 gram for now that seems to be the best combination
next i will rejet and get the airbox off and run a cone or something
1 other cool thing is that i have hooked it up with a NOS system made from a whip cream charger and "whip its"(little NOS charges) and some other tubing and a switch to control it its a nice clean setup that looks nice on the bike and it makes it go from 40-60 in about 1 second .however i have taken it off in fear of killing the heads or rings.
i will put it back on when i redo some other parts to make them strong enough.
. any way there it is for now lots of stuff in my head for it
does anyone know or seen any post of a stretched rattler? im very interested if a kit exists or if anyone has made one yet

Would like to know more on how this "whip cream" NOS kit worked and how you managed to hook it up to the bike.

he is on the other side of the rockies. like the green. you have come to the right place for the rattler stuff. most of the TR peeps like long and low. but the rats are tons of fun.

Yeah, I'm on the opposite side of the Rockies. I'm coming out to Denver in August (probably) but won't have my scooter with me. Here's some info on the pipe (I hope Ericalm doesn't mind): http://www.genuinerattler.com/forum/vie ... ?f=3&t=708

Anyhow, I said it half in jest, though I do have one for sale :P

Another question I have is what kind of paint did you use to get that nice gloss finish on the exhaust pipe? With finances being what they are, I may have to go to a Buddy 125 instead of a Stella, and I thought that a colormatched pipe to the body would look real flash.
