Scavenger Hunt Week 4 - Let's play Poker.

Post by Syd »

Let's recycle yet another Hunt from 2008 that generated a lot of traffic -
Poker! This will run from now until midnight Sunday, July 24th. Here are the rules, straight from '08 -

It’s time to get a little more creative. Scooter Poker!

2pts for A Pair Of Scooters (see rules below)
5pts for TWO Pair
7pts for 3 Of A Kind
9pts for Four Of A Kind
10pts for a Flush (5 scooters with something the same)
12pts for A Full House (2 scoots, with something in common in photo with 3 scoots with something in common)
+ 1pt for the first pic posted

RULES:
Ok… a pair is NOT just any two scooters… it has to be two of some type of scooter – two 125cc’s, two buddys, two red scooters, etc.
Same goes for two pair – four scooters but each pair must have a connection – two blue scooters & two vespas, etc)
3 of a kind & 4 of a kind work the same way.
A flush is 5 scoots that have something in common (not just they all have wheels) – 5 buddys, 5 125cc’s, 5 red scooters, etc.
A Full House is a PAIR and 3 Of A Kind.
Your full “poker hand” must be in a single photo.
Please explain your “poker hand” (yeah… if we see a photo of 3 red scoots, we will get it… but if you have 3 scoots that are together because they are all 150cc, tell us that)
NO scooter shop or rental place photos! (Each scoot must be individually owned)
As always, you can only submit one pic for scoring.

Last time we played poker in the Hunt I had trouble getting a pair; I don't think anything has changed since then either. :(

Unless you all dispute the Express, which has to be tagged, titled and insured in the great state of Oklahoma.

Nice job, that'll be tough to beat.

And speaking of beat, can I assume that the Elite being held together with duct tape is The Hellite? And is the Express as small as it seems to be?

Right on both points. The plan is for me and the ex to take the Hellite apart and turn it into... something else. But keeping the pop-up headlight. That little Honda Express is super-tiny and quite fun to ride. I'll hate it when the guy who won it finally picks it up (maybe he'll forget?)

This is sort of embarrassing. I can't even come up with the new version of the 'pair of' I posted three years ago. Really, I think the best I'll be able to do this week is toss my cards in; all I have is 10 high.
