sound system and paint job on buddy 50

Post by slusher5 »

2 Polk 5 1/4" db521, waterproof $50
road rage motorcycle amp $25
custom fiberglass work from fry's $too much
paintjob, like $50 for krylon, clear coat, and "pearls" paintwithpearl, paid friend $60 to paint
crashing- priceless (me and the bike have a few scratches)

I finished the speakers about a month ago and the paintjob was like 2 years ago.

If I didnt have the prima exhaust(or if I added some new packing) the speakers would be plenty loud, but on some songs it will distort if I turn it loud enough to hear over the exhaust.

There isn't a head unit, just an ipod/mp3 hookup.

Damn....

So what happens if you get caught in the rain and water pours into the speakers?

the speakers are waterproof, the amp is hidden under some plastic.. in a heavy pour the amp might get wet/destroyed

Slusher,

Might you have a few more pics at different angles? Would love to see more.

Thanks!
