Looks surprisingly good

Post by SoCalScooter »

Took a few quick shots on my phone to share... the buddy held up pretty well, all things considered.

I got scraped up pretty badly, getting dragged for a couple yards under the front end of the car. Thankfully, the I got hung up on the bumper/undercarriage which prevented me from getting rund over by the tires. Amazingly, nothing was broken. I stood up and walked over to the gurney of the ambulance.

Had I been wearing armored over-pants, I would have just been bruised. Unfortunately, I was not. See the attached pic of my dress slacks that I was wearing. Accordingly, I am missing a bunch of skin on my rear-end, plus some on my knees and shins.

It was also a pretty terrible experience having gravel and pants fiber cleaned out of my bum by a nurse with tweezers and a scrub brush.

I don't know too much about what happened to her. I assume she got a ticket for some moving violation (failure to stop?)... State Farm says it might take a few weeks to get the police reports and go after her insurance company, but in the meantime they should be taking care of me (FINGERS CROSSED!).

yeah. Gear does wonders...I'm glad your okay...besides a sore bumm. Pants always seem the weak part. I often think of this when I am in a jacket, boots, helmet gloves and just jeans.
Speed is only a matter of money...How fast do you want to go?

WOAH!

Glad you are okay! That's quite a story. But it could have been so much worse! Whew!
