i bought a new bike on Saturday, a 1996 honda shadow vt600 12775 miles, its had new tires put on, a recent tune up ,new starter sylenoid , my buddy from work bought it about 4-5 months ago, then gave it to his son . then sold it to his buddy, whom i bought it from , 1500 cash. I test drove it a few time and wasnt so sure , i guess geting used to a new machine , but now i love it. it feels great sounds great , im really happy, The first thing i want to do is replace the seat, maybe some new pegs and ride ride ride

That's a sweet bike! It's an extremely well built, fun, reliable machine that should last you for a long time. My only complaint with those is that every time I ride one, I'm searching for fifth gear...

yes 1 down then just the 3 up, other than smaller dirt bikes im new to the gears on a bike so its all i no , but i get in that 55-65 range it feels like i need one more.. o well

looks like a really good ride! good color on it also. You really did score a good find. Honda has got to be one of the top favorite brand of mine since they really make reliable, durable bikes that people have been trusting ever since the brand was established. I reckon with a little work, maybe change the seat and add some detail to it then it'll be as good as new.
