Actually what is the definition of a semi. I have a picture of my scooter with an orange moving truck, but I don't think it counts as a semi.

There are no trucks or semi's in this picture and you aren't in the photo 0 points, sorry trailers dont count

I assure you that the truck and I are on the same side of the street as the gas station. This is an odd gas station. It has a very large gravel area out front under the sign for semis to park in and the pumps themselves sit pretty far back. I don't think this one is really meant for everyday vehicles.

Thanks! This is like a small-town forgotten truck stop. Not sure how it makes it ... at most, maybe 4 semis can park there. Guess it's mostly just a place for them to catch some sleep.

Now, where my sister works ... that's a truck stop. Too much interstate driving for me to hit there, but I bet I could find trucks of every color there.

You can only see my finger and part of my helmet in this shot; I had to shoot the semi (which was a tanker truck refueling the gas tanks) in my mirror. The only way you can tell it's a gas station is the tanker and the cover on the ground for a tank.



And here's a second pic (supporting evidence or better overall?) that shows me and the tanker better, but doesn't have the actual truck in it (well it does have the mudflaps!!), just the tanker and from an earlier post I didn't know if that was bad or not. I think it's better but will let the judges decide. Either should be 8 points, right?!

We know you look at image data signatures for the date and time, so we won't cheat. I just have a long ride ahead of me tomorrow and the topic could affect which route I take.

Should it be near a beach? Or near lots of trees? Or places where famous street signs will be? Or long town names? Or the highest gasoline price? Or the best fast food? Or cows?

You should get three points. In your second truck photo you can be seen in the reflection taking the shot. +2 for you in the photo.

Well you're not exactly making it easy to get all these things in there for maximum points! So sometimes the only option is a bit of everything!!

If what ya want is pics of scooters than ditch the "with you in the pic" extra points!!

I'll try and get that cop pic and make ya proud next week!

For tomorrow... I am going to keep in the bonus of with you in the pic but the new standing rule will be if you want the bonus points, your entire scooter and entire body must be in the pic - not just the left side of your helmet & the mirror.
If you want the points, you are just going to have to figure out how to use the timer on your camera, not use your cell phone, or find a person to take the pic.
I am not knocking those pics (well... yeah I am ) but I think everyone knows the intent was to get a pics of us with our scooters like this:

personally I'd like to see fewer bonus points being offered all around. Most people are trying to get THE MOST points they can. (I'm quilty of trying for it too), but I thought the original point was to just get the picture of the scooter with xx and that the bonus points were really bonus's...like HARD to get instead of "just one more thing to include in the picture".

Well... here is the deal... the point is to get a pic of a scoot with X
But many people like the challenge & the competition & might get board if it is just a pic of your scooter with X - so the bonus points are there to keep the overachievers interested & playing.
(the real reason is I want to see how far I can get 20 or 30 people to go - I am the PUPPET MASTER & you will all do my bidding!)
So hopefully everyone will have fun & play along regardless of it they just want to post up a quick pic or want to spend the week getting the most points.

I am glad everyone who is participating is having fun, and for the super-competitive members I am guessing they are enjoying all the ways to amass points, but I haven't put in a photo since week one because the points stuff isn't so much fun for me. I was thinking of still taking photos of the themes for each week so I will have a set of one of everything but just not submitting them the week they are due and hassling with the points thing.

I've submitted a few ideas that could prove a challenge.


But, in SL's defense ... he's screwed either way. Half of us will say it's too easy, the other half say it's too hard and the third half will say it's too competitive. You can't please all three halves.
