That would be ideal, but any kind of diner is OK.kyleedmonston wrote:What are you telling us to find? A trailer-style diner?

I do too. In fact I've been looking at Diner history sites all night. That's how I just found Vinyl. How's the weather in Cincy?BoneGirl wrote:No way! I think the trailer-style diner is excellent!

Sun is out today and predicted to be out tomorrow as well. It's about 35 degrees right now and I'm suiting up to scoot. There are a few Tags we're going after today. Tomorrow we are riding up to Dayton for a group ride (celebrating my 53rd birthday!) and seeing what the weather brings for scootercincinnati.com 1st Annual Polar Bear Ride. It's looking rainy right now so maybe have to push that one to next Sunday.Syd wrote: I do too. In fact I've been looking at Diner history sites all night. How's the weather in Cincy?
So I'm off trailer hunting!
Angie
I'm back and we actually found two: 1st one is Vinyl, Syd!
and the world famous Ollie's Trolley. Mr. Smith (Ollie) was actually here and allowed a photo op. Sweet!
Next tag: Your scooter at a Brewery Not a bar, not a distillery but an actual brewery. Have fun!

Ai yi yi! I'm almost to be a Buddy person! Or at least a Buddy tag player. Since I posted the last tag here, there have been 6 (count 'em - six) completed tags on ScooterDiva and a 7th tag posted.

Boy, did I mis-speak:
Or maybe I just didn't go out far enough.
And then, since it's Sunday, I went to church - or by one anyway:
Since the real estate market crashed, I figured I could ride out a bit and easily find hundreds of half-built shells of houses. Nuh Uh. It looks like the big builders finished the houses they had going, then just left neatly graded, but otherwise untouched lots in their massive developments. I rode around for a couple hours just to find this:And homes under construction? I think lots of Arizonans can do that
Or maybe I just didn't go out far enough.
And then, since it's Sunday, I went to church - or by one anyway:

I'm sorta embarrassed to post this because there are so many beautiful churches in NYC, but this was the most convenient one and I was COLD!! and the game must go on . . .
How about a comic book / trading card store?

It's like this on a lot of scooter sites right now...must be the weather. Midwest is getting hit with a lot of snow and ice today and the next few days. No chance of me getting your tag so it's time for some of the southerners to get it on!!!Syd wrote:Hello....?
Is anyone there...(besides me, etak and BoneGirl)?

Haven't had much of a chance to get out on the scooter. And I spent the weekend taking a motorcycle safety class, so I wasn't about to get on a scooter afterwards I was so wrung out. Its a lovely rainy day today. I might be able to get this on Friday or Saturday, but others may get it first. We'll see.

Well, I hope this is quirky enough for you... If walls covered with dollar bills and animal heads,
and irish folk music you can hear from 3 blocks away isn't quirky, I don't know what is.
Also they have boss nachos.
So for the next one, try to find a funny sign that is selling something weird or has something
to do with corn. If you have a really funny one that isn't selling anything and doesn't involve
corn, you can use it anyway as long as its good.

haha, that's a good one, etak. Sorry about the weird tag, I was in a hurry and I wasn't finding anything interesting...etak wrote:One of my pet peeves is when other people's Petes piss on my property.
Botanical gardens should be cool, unfortunately our only one is in the Zoo, and I don't think I could bring the Bud in there.
Maybe I could find one in a neighboring city? ROAD TRIP!

And since I was in the neighborhood, I went to the Zoo. You should too!

And here is a slightly better version of what I was looking for a couple weeks ago.
Now get out to the Zoo!
