I've never had that problem, so I'm not sure. I'm guessing it has something to do with uploading pics directly to the forum vs. using a link to a photo site (I use photobucket).

Anyway, I did a quick search and came up with this thread that may help some. viewtopic.php?t=15188&highlight=image+post

Eric has a post with a link to a MB FAQ thread regarding uploading pics and resizing, and a couple of other links to MV that may help.

re: page width - there's a post near the top of this page with a ridiculously-long URL which forces the page to be ridiculously-wide. Some images (inserted as attachments?) are centered when they're posted, so they _look_ like they're waaaay over to the right. Images inserted with BBCode or the 'Img' button seem to be properly left-justified.

So until we roll over to a new page or those mongo URLs get edited, this page will look sorta funny.

Trust me, it's Reeeeeally worse when you hit it with an iPad, as its browsers try to render the whole width of the page.
